On the Road Again, I just can't wait to get on the road again. Seeing things that I ain't never seen again, I just can wait to get on the road agan.
It turns out that Wyoming is a really big state.  I mean really big.  There is a lot of traffic in Colorado.  Wyoming has almost no traffic.  The trip was about 7 hours long.  Six of those hours were in Wyoming.  My experience of driving through Wyoming looks a lot like these pictures here on the right.  Sometimes the road turns.  Sometimes you go up or down a hill.  Mostly it's flat, straight and full of bugs.  I got to drive through 300 miles of Wyoming.  It's a pretty state but most of the drive was over rolling prairie and grasslands.  I got bored. This was my best companion on the road to Devils Tower.  I brought a lot of CDs to listen to on the road.  Radio in Wyoming was a surprise.  Many of the stations had two or three frequencies that they used.  When you drove out of range of one transmitter, you usually could pickup the station on another frequency.  The rock stations in Wyoming would play a song that you would expect on a Classic Rock station, then play a rap song, then play a song from the 80s and then play a song that was brand new.  It kept my attention so much that I only played one or two CDs on the whole trip.

There are a lot of suicidal bugs in Wyoming.  There are a lot of bugs in Wyoming who saw that I had a new car and wanted a closer look.  Either way, I stopped every 150 miles, bought a couple gallons of gas (to be polite) and squeeged the heck out of my windshield.
